Executive Director, Policy and Planning
Elizabeth is Executive Director, Policy and Planning at Emissions Reduction Alberta (ERA), formerly the Climate Change and Emissions Management Corporation. Elizabeth provides strategic advice to ERA in support of its mandate to invest in technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and secure Alberta’s success in a lower carbon economy. Prior to ERA, Elizabeth served on the secretariat supporting Alberta’s Climate Leadership Panel, whose advice to government culminated in Alberta’s Climate Leadership Plan in November 2015. Elizabeth started her career with the Alberta Government in Innovation and Advanced Education. Previously, she held positions with Capital Power, the Canadian Electricity Association, and the U.S. Nuclear Energy Institute. Elizabeth has a masters degree in Economics from George Mason University.
