Environmental Planning

Lisa is a Professional Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the environmental field and her specialties include Strategic Environmental Planning and Sustainable Natural Resource Management. Dr. White holds a Ph.D. from the School of Environment and Sustainability at the University of Saskatchewan in the area of Strategic Environmental Assessment for Sustainable Energy Planning. Her research applied a strategic decision-making framework that engaged stakeholders and incorporated sustainability criteria to aid in energy development policy and plan development. Dr. White is the Co-Chair of the Women in Scholarship, Engineering, Science and Technology (WISEST) board, as well as a Director on the Consulting Engineers of Alberta Board, and a Member of the Alberta Chamber of Resources Environment Committee.
