Energy-Based Partnerships Towards Reconciliation

Healthy, trusting and productive relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples is a key part of collaborating to create our future energy system.

We are exploring and learning how to support greater alignment and shared purpose amongst the EFL community on the importance of these relationships in the context of the evolving, co-creative, vision-driven, diverse multi-stakeholder collaborative platform that is the Energy Futures Lab. The work of The Natural Step Canada and the Energy Futures Lab is guided by the Principles of Sustainability, which define in scientific terms what is means to respect and live within nature’s limits, and defines a common ground that we can explore and nurture.

We recognize that this is an ongoing journey. We view the Nov 27th one-day workshop as a step along the way, knowing that this work will continue throughout the existence of the EFL and in our lifetimes.

Who should attend this workshop?

This workshop is exclusively for EFL Partners, Fellows, and supporters to advance the development of a more shared understanding of the intention we will hold for what is meant by “energy-based partnerships toward reconciliation” as expressed in the EFL 2050 Vision.
