Cayla brings over 18 years of experience in the utilities industry. She started her career at AltaLink in 2005, holding numerous customer service-based positions including leadership roles spanning project execution, operational delivery, and regulatory engagement. Currently, as the VP, Government Relations & Commercial, she is responsible for advancing policy recommendations and engaging with municipal, provincial, and federal governments to foster collaborative relationships. Cayla also oversees AltaLink’s commercial business.

Cayla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Culture from the University of Calgary.

The pace of change in the electricity industry is accelerating in a way utilities haven’t ever experienced before. It demands a different response, and I see incredible value of bringing together a diverse set of voices with the goal of facilitating win-win solutions. Together, we can evolve our system to deliver reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy, both today and in the future.
