Jacob is a systems thinker with over 10 years of research and consulting experience in the energy sector and sustainability field. He began his career in environmental research, spent half a decade in Alberta’s pipeline industry, and, in recent years, has contributed to building a hydrogen economy in Alberta and Canada through his work with the Transition Accelerator.
Jacob is passionate about achieving sustainability through technological advancement and multi-stakeholder collaborations. He is currently the principal consultant and founder of InnoTech Pioneers, where he collaborates with various organizations across the sustainable development spectrum, and he assists them in navigating through challenges, identifying opportunities, bringing their disruptive products and innovative solutions to market, while advocating for better industry practices, government policies, and regulations.
Jacob has a BSc in Environmental Science from Dalhousie University, and a Maters in Sustainable Energy Development from the University of Calgary.
