Ariane Bourassa

Ariane Bourassa is a public policy professional, working with the TMX Group. Her work focuses on ensuring governments understand the economic and technical challenges of policy change on Canadian capital markets, in the broader context of an uncertain economic future and a transitioning economy. Ariane believes that environmental leadership and economic growth are both possible with careful planning and thoughtful dialogue between stakeholders. Prior to this, Ariane honed her policy advocacy skills in the construction and energy sector where she first worked as an environment professional for almost a decade. Ariane was an EFL Fellow from 2019 to 2021 after which she became an Ambassador. She was a contributor to the Leveraging our Energy Asset for Diversification (LEAD) project. Ariane is happiest where she feels her work contributes to the solution. Ariane holds a Master in Environmental Sciences from Université du Québec a Montréal as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and International Law.
