Liz Brennan is the Manager of Climate Change and Carbon at Canfor where she supports Canfor’s ongoing journey towards achieving net-zero. Liz is supporting Canfor’s decarbonization planning initiatives, manages the corporate GHG inventory, and is overseeing the development of climate change and carbon emissions-related goals. Prior to Canfor, Liz worked in consulting role, where she gained experience with regulatory GHG quantification frameworks and modeling carbon intensity scores for renewable transportation fuels. Her work allowed her to gain an in-depth understanding of key opportunities and challenges associated with bioenergy projects, and their interaction with carbon pricing mechanisms.
