Canada’s energy conversation continues to be polarized, particularly with respect to Alberta’s economy in relation to the rest of Canada. We have a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to this conversation with the diverse voices and perspectives at the Energy Futures Lab and with our strong presence in Alberta. If not us, then who?

The theme of the the upcoming Nov 7 & 8 EFL Fellowship workshop will focus on the following question:

How should the EFL show leadership in the
national conversation on Canada’s energy future?

The purpose and intention of the workshop will be to explore our personal and collective leadership as well as the role we can play as individuals and as a group. This workshop will feature inspiring guests, dynamic interactive exercises, deep reflection and tough conversations. This workshop will also mark an important milestone in the EFL Fellowship, as we introduce coming adjustments to the Fellowship design and patterns of engagement for EFL 2.0.

Please note that we will be joined on Nov 7th by Ian MacGregor, Chairman and President of North West Refining Inc., and one of the leading pioneers in Alberta’s energy sector who is looking to reinvent Alberta’s place in the future.

Given the nature of this workshop, its timeliness and the importance of having diverse perspectives, we highly encourage all Fellows to make the time to attend.
