Executive Director of Advanced Hydrocarbons
Bryan is the Executive Director of Advanced Hydrocarbons in the Clean Energy division of Alberta Innovates, working with industry, academia, government and other stakeholders to achieve Alberta’s 2030 targets on hydrocarbon value addition and GHG reduction. Bryan’s 20 years of industry experience encompasses leadership roles in technology development, reservoir engineering, business development, and corporate planning. In addition to the innovation and collaboration that comes with his day job, Bryan teaches a course on operationalizing innovation at UofC and lives in an innovative cohousing development. Bryan has a degree in Environmental Engineering from Waterloo and an MBA from the UofC.
