Project Manager
As a Project Manager with Shell Canada, JT Steenkamp has the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects including grid-scale batteries, hydro, solar, ultrafast electric vehicle charging, and biogas. One of JT’s initiatives involves the recovery of nuisance vanadium from oil sands for renewable energy applications. Originally from South Africa, JT graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Masters in Engineering Physics. JT now lives in Calgary with his wife, their son and two daughters. On the side, JT moonlights as a classically trained tenor with Calgary Opera.
