The Energy Futures Lab held an event for young people to learn about an inclusive and equitable energy transition, make connections in the industry and apply their unique perspective to move towards action.
At the Youth Innovation Jam, folk between the ages of 18-30 from across Alberta sat alongside energy transition leaders for a day of exploring solutions and opportunities related to energy transition.
The event was a blend of keynote talks, small group activities, two-way learning and networking. The atmosphere was both fun and productive, and folks were encouraged to actively engage in the topics bringing their unique perspectives and skills to the table.
The event was held May 7, 2022 at The Ampersand in Calgary (home of the Energy Transition Centre).
An optional evening event was also held by IndigeSTEAM who hosted a Mini Tipi paint and building workshop
